Mission Statement
Eleven years ago our son Bailey Ryan was diagnosed
with Leukemia. It was without a doubt one of the worst
days of our lives. Our lifeline throughout his treatment
and after care has been the Cancer Center for Kids at
Winthrop University Hospital. Through their incredible
compassion, knowledge and caring, our son is now a
happy and healthy 13 year old and for this we will be
forever in their debt.

When Bailey was ending his treatment, we decided to
celebrate. As we invited our friends and family, they
asked what they could get Bay. Bay had already
received the greatest gift possible. He was in
remission and his future looked bright. This was all
because of the wonderful care he received at the
Cancer Center for Kids. It occurred to us that there
was a way we could say thank you to the Center that
had given us so much. When our friends asked how
they could help, we suggested a donation to the
Cancer Center for Kids. Not only did our friends think
this was a great idea, they joined us in trying to help
the Cancer Center for Kids - and a tradition had been
born.
We are currently planning our 9th Annual Bay's Big
Bash. A spectacular fireworks show on Long Island
Sound by Bay Fireworks is planned for the event
along with appearances by celebrity guests from the
sports and entertainment fields.
